History tells us that Billy The Kid was gunned by Pat Garrett on the 14th of July 1881. Whilst this is what many believe, the story of what happened that night was turned upside down with the emergence of a man called Brushy Bill Roberts who claimed that he was Billy The Kid in the late 1940's.
